Hey [CORRECTED_NAME GOES HERE], I love finding creative ways to memorize Scripture that are so easy, even kids can enjoy doing them. That's why you're going to love the new resource we're giving away for free this week.
You see, memory is all about creating connections.
When you have zero connections to a person, it's hard to remember their name. When you have zero connections to a verse, it's hard to remember the words.
BUT...
...when the more intentional connections you make with a verse, the easier it is to internalize.
I remember growing up and memorizing the "Romans Road." Do you know what I'm talking about? It's a collection of verses in Romans that go step by step through the gospel message.
Connection 1: all of the verses are in Romans
Connection 2: all the verses have to do with sin and salvation
Connection 3: this is the foundation of my faith, so it's important!
These kinds of topical collections of Bible verses can be really valuable, but surprisingly few of them exist.
Today I want to challenge you to memorize six new verses that I call the "Sweet 16s". At the very least, I know you can memorize the six verse references in 5 minutes, after which you can spend some time learning the words.

Bible Memory Battle: this Sunday!
We're having fun with a new livestream format this Sunday: Josh & Becky will choose a random psalm, put 30 minutes on the timer and battle it out to see how can memorize faster.
