if you've ever felt "stuck"

Hey [CORRECTED_NAME GOES HERE], if you ask ten different people what passage of the Bible that you should memorize next, you'd likely get 10 very passionate - but different - answers. I even did a search on the internet (which, of course, is the most reliable of sources) and here's what I found:
Let's ignore for a moment the argument that "you don't need to memorize because you have it on your phone" (it's a terrible argument I want to rebut in a later video), but by this logic, you'd be memorizing...
...3rd John?
The reality is, the easiest passages of the Bible to memorize aren't necessarily the shortest. But I also have a somewhat controversial opinion that you may or may not agree with:
A New Testament epistle isn't always the best place to start memorizing.
This week I want to have a discussion around which passage you should choose NEXT to memorize based on what would likely be easiest. And to do so, we're going to go over the A.I.M. framework where we ask:
Is it Achievable?
Is it Impactful or useful?
Is it Motivating to you?
Be sure to watch this week's video and share your thoughts in the comments so we can learn together.
📣 the EASIEST Passage of the Bible to Memorize
As Christians, we tend to gravitate toward reading, studying and memorizing the New Testament, specifically the epistles. But what if these are not the easiest passages? What if your struggle to memorize has to do with the fact that you're choosing unnecessarily hard passages?
Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.
Valerie’s recent interview sparked a wave of interest in creating Prayer Bibles—and Jennifer jumped in to start a “master thread” for all things related to this practice. From questions to ideas and practical tips, this conversation is quickly becoming a go-to space for anyone wanting to deepen their prayer life through Scripture.
The conversation around Prayer Bibles continues! Mariah shared how Valerie’s recent interview sparked a reminder of a special resource—Scripture-based prayers written by her grandmother over 40 years ago, now available in multiple languages.
She’s been praying through these passages regularly and has seen real impact in her life and family—along with the added blessing of naturally internalizing the verses over time. If you’ve been encouraged by the idea of a Prayer Bible, this thread is full of meaningful inspiration.
Jennifer shared that a new virtual summer study led by Susan Heck has just been announced! This 12-week (ladies only) study will walk through the book of Titus, with multiple Tuesday time options to fit different schedules.
If you’re a fan of her teaching—or looking for a structured way to dive deeper into Titus this summer—this could be a great opportunity to explore. Check it out here.
New Opportunity
We're trying something new. If you're feeling stuck or unmotivated to continue in your Scripture memorization, we're offering a 3-month Memory Accelerator Program where we'll help you map out your goal, build the habits to get there and the accountability to make sure you finish. Best of all? If you don't actually finish memorizing the passage we set together, you'll get your money back.
Last thing I'll say here - it's crunch time for me as I prepare everything for Scripture Sync in Dallas. It's less than 2 months away! I'm getting really excited but honestly...also a bit nervous.
I WANT you to be there with us! If you don't yet have tickets, either in-person or virtual, reserve your seat here.
