less than a week left

Hey [CORRECTED_NAME GOES HERE], in the days and weeks leading up to Easter, there are a number of amazing ways that we can honor and remember the importance of this celebration for us as Christians. Perhaps you're in the midst of Lent or you're doing a special Easter reading plan.

Our community Patrons would like to invite you to something unique.

We've been working hard for the past couple months to memorize the entire Gospel of Luke, word for word. It's been a challenging and rewarding project that we're excited to share with you over this Easter week!

Starting on Monday, you'll have the chance to listen to the entirety of Luke recited from memory, four chapters every morning. You can either...

  • Watch on YouTube: I'll be on live every morning in the comments with others in our community as we make our way through the Gospel of Luke.
  • Listen on the Podcast: There will be a new episode posted every morning on Apple Podcasts and Spotify (be sure to follow so you get them in your feed.

By the time you reach Easter morning, you will have heard the entire story of Jesus' life through Luke's account. You won't want to miss out.

There's something else happening next week that I want you to know about as well...

Early bird pricing for Scripture Sync ends on March 31st.

For this reason, our community director Becky and I recorded a quick Q&A episode to answer a number of questions about the event. If you've been on the fence about whether or not to come, hopefully these answers can help.

You still have a few more days to get $50 off a Scripture Sync ticket!

*tickets are fully refundable up until May 20, so grab your ticket now before the price goes up.

📣 What is Scripture Sync anyway? (+ other questions)

This week, Josh & Becky take a few minutes to answer the most common questions about Scripture Sync, the premier Bible memory event happening on June 19-20, 2026 in Dallas. Get your tickets before the early bird ends on March 31st!

*this episode is also available to listen to on Apple podcasts

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

— 1 Peter 1:18-19

COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHT

What's Happening in our Community

Bible Memory Day

Community member Phil is hosting several Bible Memory Day gatherings in across the US this spring, with a goal of reciting over 2,000 verses in a single day—and inviting others to join in, quote Scripture, and encourage one another. His vision is to see these gatherings spread as a way to celebrate and strengthen Scripture memory in community. Learn how you can get involved here!

Share Your Wins

One of the most encouraging spaces in our community is Share Your Wins! If you haven’t visited it lately, you’re missing out!

There is something powerful about hearing someone else recite Scripture. It reminds us that this is possible. It strengthens our faith. It motivates us to keep going. Whether it’s one verse, one chapter, or an entire book, every step forward is worth celebrating.

Have you recorded a recitation lately? Share it!
Have you finished a passage? Post it!

Let’s keep building a culture where progress is shared, joy is multiplied, and God’s Word is honored together.

In less than 80 days, me, my wife and two sons will be hanging out in Dallas with a bunch of amazing people who love internalizing Scripture. I'd really love to meet you and hear your story if you're able to come.

If you have any other questions that are keeping you from buying a Scripture Sync ticket, just reply to this email and we'll get it answered!
