Hey [CORRECTED_NAME GOES HERE], I've always found the New Year to be an interesting and somewhat weird ritual. I'm mean, think about it...what exactly are we celebrating?
An arbitrary date? The chance to buy a new calendar? Are we looking back or looking forward?
Do I really have to stay up until midnight?
Ok, so that last one shows that I'm getting old, I guess ๐ What I do enjoy about the New Year, though, is a chance to start over, to set new goals and to make the future better than the past.
This year I'm trying something a little different.
In the past, my Bible reading plans and my memorization plans have been separate things, rarely intertwined. And it shouldn't be that way! But I couldn't find any planning template that fit what I needed.
So I created the STEP Guide (Scripture Engagement & Tracking Plan).
This is a free PDF download that you can try yourself, but I do recommend you watch the video below to see how to use it to plan out the next 90 days of 2026.
Let me know if you find it useful!
๐ฃ The Scripture Tracking & Engagement Plan (STEP)
It's not about just reading or memorizing words on a page. How are we going to engage with God's Word this year? Here's a simple 2-page planning document that might just help you think this through.
"But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord."
โ Luke 2:10-11 (NIV)

One of our members, Ryan, has been quietly working on something special and itโs now live. Heโs created a new Bible memorization app designed to support Scripture memory in a simple, accessible way. It even works seamlessly on your phoneโs browser, making it easy to use wherever you are. If you enjoy exploring new tools that can support your memory practice, youโll want to check out what Ryan has built and share your feedback with him.โ
The holidays can be full and fast, which makes even small acts of faithfulness worth celebrating. Our Share Your Wins space is where members mark progress finishing a verse, staying consistent through a busy week, or returning after a pause. Reading these wins is a gentle reminder that God is at work, even in quiet, unseen ways. If you need encouragement this season, spend a few minutes there or share a win of your own.
Early Bird Ends Soon!
